Nouvelle proposition à La consultation
Stopping wealth confiscation through inheritance
The wealth generated by one generation should not be inherited by their offspring or other people or entities (trusts etc) linked to them, by those who have made fortunes. There's should be a limit of no more than +/- 20 "smic" per individual on the amount that can be passed from generation to generation including real estate and other objects. The surplus wealth should firstly be used to finance education, particularly but not uniquely, so as to allow the poor to access the same quality of education as the rich, from the earliest age so as not to deprive society of any future sources of innovation and advancement. Remaining capital should be invested in scientific study and innovation. Only physical businesses producing goods or innovation (not rent) should be able to be passed from generation to generation and then only under strict supervision and in the best interests of the business.
